Mr. Buitano has had over 15 years of experience leading software and system R&D programs, IT deployment, and product and business development at Xerox, Eastman Kodak, and ContentGuard. He has generated over $2 billion in sales developing software, network, system, and Internet products and solutions from the ground up. Mr. Buitano has also helped establish many worldwide high-tech alliances and partnerships within related software, Internet, and electronics industries. Mr. Buitano was also the first recipient of the Xerox Corporate Engineering Center Software Excellence Award for leading the largest software development organization in Xerox to obtain the SEI CMM certifications.

Mr. Buitano is founder and President of InfoSecure Open Systems & Solutions. He was also founder and EVP of InfoSecure, a start-up software security company providing XML-based total life cycle management of secure data, media, and document content in enterprises. Mr. Buitano was also one of the founders and a Director of ContentGuard Inc, a joint venture between Xerox and Microsoft, established in April 2000 to commercialize digital rights technology from Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center. In that capacity, he had responsibility for the go-to-market efforts of ContentGuard’s RightsEdge Digital Rights Management products and related security consulting and ASP services.
